Combating climate change and securing our energy supplies are in everyone’s interests – so it’s not surprising that wind farms proposals attract supporters as well as opponents. Engaging with these supporters and developing a mutually beneficial relationship is an important part of an overall community engagement strategy – but many developers are getting it wrong. In this session, we’ll explore common pitfalls you might encounter when working with volunteers and activists, and suggest ways in which they can be overcome.
