BAE Systems has the capabilities and expertise to provide large-scale integration, world leading marine engineering and advanced modeling expertise that can support the emerging UK offshore renewables industry.

As the UK's leading designer, manufacturer and integrator of naval ships, BAE Systems has the largest marine engineering capability in the UK. This includes several shipyards that provide complex ship design and build facilities, as well as a wide range of maritime support services delivering through-life capability management.

This visit to the company’s shipyard at Scotstoun on the River Clyde will give an overview of the facilities available, its management of large marine construction projects and the relevance of BAE Systems’ existing marine capabilities to challenges of establishing a UK offshore renewables industry.
Who can attend

Any registered conference delegate, exhibitor or visitor.
Location & Time

Guests are asked to gather at the front of the SECC, where a coach will depart at 14.00. Guests will be transported back to the SECC, arriving back by 17.00.
