Carbon Offsetting with Renewable World

Renewable World develops community-managed, small scale renewable energy projects in developing countries that address energy poverty and do not contribute to climate change.

  • Delegate travelling within the UK = £5
    For the cost of £5 you can compensate for an average return flight within the UK or up to 500 miles return journey in a standard petrol car.
  • Delegate travelling from outside the UK = £10
    For the cost of £10 you can compensate for a return flight to the UK of up to 1000 miles.
  • The price of compensating for one tonne of carbon dioxide is set at £27.60 which is based on the shadow price of carbon, an estimated value of the damage caused by one tonne of carbon dioxide, calculated independently by the British Government.
